About Online Handicapping
As advances in technology continue to take place it has become more convenient for golfers to
perform handicap functions and view personal statistics over the internet. The GSG Handicap
System™ allows a player to post scores at any GSG club, course or association as well as through
the company web site. Players can view data such as past 20 score history, handicap index
history, eligible tournament scores and rounds played to date. Users can also receive an automatic
e-mail with their latest revised handicap index all via the web. While it is possible to post
a home score online, GSG strongly recommends any round played at the Home Course be posted at the Home Club
Terminal following play.
The use of the internet makes the GSG Handicap System the perfect choice for golf associations. The system can be loaded on any lap top computer and acts as a stand-alone terminal
when playing away courses. Players simply post their scores on the laptop and the association administrator transmits the scores via the internet when a connection is available. This eliminates
the need for hand records and data sheets and provides the association’s handicap committee the ability to maintain their peer review standards.
If your home golf club or golf association is currently a GSG client, you may post scores through
the company web site. Please have your GSG Number available. The number is located on your GSG Handicap Card.

USGA® Licensing Program
The United States Golf Association has implemented a Club Licensing Program to any “golf club” issuing a USGA Handicap Index® . Upon installation of the GSG Handicap System an individual golf course, multiple course facility or golf association should have the appropriate license filed with either the USGA® or local authorized golf association. For questions about this free license and your compliance, please contact your local state or regional golf association.
